End of Year 2008 & Welcoming New Year 2009

once again, we've reach ends of year and awaiting brand new years to usher in. At this time there is still roughly another 3 hrs and 2009 is rolling in.

Truth to be told, i didn't make any new year resolution yet. While friends and colleague are busy come up with their next year's resolutions, i didn't have resolution at all.Maybe i do need a resolution, but all past resolution I've made are quite not realistic or i just procrastinate on it nor i've resolve to follow through.

Such a failure i'm that even the new year'eve, i've spend alone on. Speaking of which make me kinda miss my study's years. When we all friends will go out for gathering and spend the night, countdown for new years.

Guess i've just have to call them to wish them happy new years.

Maybe year 2009 i'll to stop procrastinate and get work done.

Another interesting song i've found in youtube. Once in a while, have you ever have the urge to look for the songs or melody that you heard before long time ago? "My All" is sung by Mariah Carey, song is quite popular around 90". However not many people can sing it as of the high notes.

Another interesting song that keep play in my head. The song was sung by Sandy Lam. I've remember i listened to this song sometime when i'm in my freshman's years. While at that time i didn't quite understand the song lyric, but the tunes are really soothing.

Anyway today on the way back home, it was playing on the radio.Sometime when listened to the lyrics, i would wondering whether the song is about a person willingness to sacrifice for love and be together with the love ones, of its simply about infatuation. Anyway it doesn't really matter.

En Esta Tarde Gris (In this gray afternoon)

Geraldine Rojas and Javier Rodriguez dancing to the tunes of "En esta tarde gris".

"En esta tarde gris", was written by Jose Maria Contursi in 1942 for Gricel Viganó, a young lady from Capilla del Señor, a small country town in Córdoba whom he met when visited Córdoba's mountains to care for his poor health. They have difficult relationship as they lived in different cities and both were married.

While lyric alludes to this encounter, departure and passionate remembrance. "I madly looked for you", "I was never able to meet you again..." was sad and tragic story. However, life did not imitate art as Contursi and Gricel Viganó's affair had a happy ending.

They met again and got married in 1967, 25 years after the original lyric was written. The composer of this tango is Mariano Mores, one the greatest in tango history.

Returning home on Friday, i saw a large crowd. Apparently there is a Honda showcase on ASIMO at here.

ASIMO (アシモ) is a humanoid robot created by Honda Motor Company. Thus small robot look like an astronaut wearing a backpack and can walk or run on two feet.

ASIMO was created at Honda's Research & Development Wako Fundamental Technical Research Center in Japan.

Officially, the name is acronym for "Advanced Step in Innovative MObility" butsome how it sound like Isaac Asimov

Maero Attack!!

Those who born between 70's to 80's will remember this drama, Maero Attack! A drama about a Japanese schoolgirl who strive to become best volleyball's player in Japan. A popular series at that time, a lots of Malaysians skippped school just to watch the show.



Come to think of it, after 20 yrs, this really an inspiring TV series, even the theme song is full on energy.
